I find constant inspiration in unexpected places. Much of my creative vision has been shaped by my travels and experiences. I live in museums, theaters, galleries and places where art of any kind can be found. Visual and performance art, as well as music all have the capacity to speak to others in a significant way. Perhaps change the perspectives in others. That is what I wish to accomplish  in my life and through my work. Below are some of my many influences.

Richard Estes / Painter

His photorealistic paintings have the ability to draw you in to his perspective, and show you the beauty in the everyday.  I believe that this concept of drawing another into a different perspective is the foundation of visual storytelling.

Kelly Wearstler / Interior Designer

Her interiors are bold and fearless, and at times a bit overwhelming, but always interesting and creative. I imagine that she is a person who is always challenging herself to try something new and to take risks. This really shows in her very imaginative work.

Django Reinhardt / Jazz Guitarist

He was able to overcome every possible disadvantage in his short life. In that time he created some of the most wonderful music ever heard. His spirit to pursue his art no matter what challenge or disadvantage he faced is what I feel all artists should aspire to.

Catherine Martin / Production Designer

Her work has always struck me because of its clear and complete vision. Although not all designers have the opportunity to showcase such grand personality and individual style, the opportunity has never been wasted on her. She has a clear influence on every element seen on screen, that always fit neatly in a unique and trademark style.
